Events @ CC Bloom's Hotel
|
Bette Midler's
character in the hit movie Beaches, "Cecilia Bloom," was constantly searching for
that perfect time and place in her adult life that would
enable her to relive the experience of being
11 years old playing on the beach at Coney without a
care with her best friend Hillary.
At C.C. Bloom's
Hotel, our goal is to create that same feeling. We are
ready to assist you in finding the perfect tour or providing
unique events that will enable you to
leave your cares behind for at least a moment.

getting away to a personal paradise where you
can leave your worries behind. Achieving this
goal also means joining in on the local
holidays and festivals. By actively participating
in these local traditions, we help our guest family
experience a unique part of Thailand.

Songkran--the "water
festival" |
| |
|
Songkran is a traditional Thai New Year
that starts on April 13 every year and lasts for three
days. Songkran Festival on April 13 is Maha Songkran Day
or the day to mark the end of the old year. April 14 is
Wan Nao, which means "The Day After," and April 15 is Wan Thaloeng Sok,
when the New Year begins. At this time,
people from the rural areas who are working in the city
usually return home to celebrate. Thus,
when the time comes, Bangkok temporarily turns into a
deserted city. |
