Introducing Our Valued StaffTo create a relaxed and carefree experience for its guests, CC Bloom's has fostered a strong relationship with our staff, many of whom have been with the hotel since it officially opened in the fall of 2004. Valuing and caring about our staff/family has been a key component in assuring that every guest has a good experience at CC Bloom's. We are proud to introduce Vicharn Wong-isares, better konwn as "Auu." He is a valued staff member who has worked at the Sunset Bar since the restaurant opened. | |

Vicharn Wong-isares--"Auu" (pronounced O-O-T)--is from Bangkok and has been working as a bartender at CC Bloom’s since February 2004. His friendly disposition and innocent smile immediately put the guests at ease, and he often engages them in small talk concerning Thai people, culture and customs. |
||

|
Apart from bartending, Auu is responsible for placing and maintaining the offerings of fruit, flowers and incense on what locals refer to as the Buddha "Spirit House," a prayer shrine or altar, which is a traditional Thai gesture of showing respect to the Buddha--90 percent of Thais are Buddhist--and to receive blessings of good fortune from him. |

Auu is more than a typical bartender; he comes across as a sincere friend. His demeanor is very similar to what you would experience from visiting the home of a close friend, and he has helped create a family feel among our guests, who on many occasions have been heard to offer him compliments like, "That 'Oot' is a really nice guy!” “Where’s that friendly 'Oot' guy? Is he still working here?” and "I want him to come back with me to my country. I have the perfect job for him." |

To that last, we always smile and answer a firm, "No." We won't give him up, at least not without a fight. We hope Auu will stay with CC’s for many years to come. Stay tuned as we continue to review “Our Most Valued Staff." |
